"Inside the Ropes with Nate Doss"
The idea for “Inside the Ropes with Nate Doss” came from simply being a sports fan. I love when Professional athletes offer a look into their minds and lives for us to see how they became so good at what they do. Knowing what your favorite players do off the court, field or course is interesting to those who don’t live that lifestyle. I got my inspiration for these videos from a behind the scenes I saw with Tiger Woods years ago when he played in the US Open. Even though this was not one of Tiger’s better performances on the course, I still really admired his passion and how he handled defeat. With this in my mind I wanted to-do something similar and the USDGC gave me the perfect opportunity on the biggest stage at the end of the year.
Team Keen 2012!
If you haven’t heard of Team Keen Fundraiser Discs yet, you’ve been missing out. Three years ago, Keen Footwear decided to offer Team Keen sponsored players a fundraising opportunity to raise money to support the Disc Golf community. Each team member picked a Disc Golf charity/organization that they wanted to donate to and thus the Team Keen Fundraiser program was born. Each year, KEEN buys a limited amount of discs with the year’s Team Keen stamp. Each player receives 50 discs to sell for a 20-dollar donation. This program has been a huge success as Team KEEN has been able to donate 10k in the first 2 years to very deserving people.
Adventures in Stockholm
Over the last seven years I have been traveling to the European sub-continent of Scandinavia. It is always interesting visiting another country that shares the love for Disc Golf and see how they develop. The growth that I have seen since I first visited has been simply amazing, and next to none around the world.
