What's for Breakfast?
A question that a touring disc golfer always seems to ask themselves is, “What Should I Eat?”, especially when it comes to breakfast. Val and I have tried everything from filling diner-style breakfast to a minimalist breakfast bar and all in between. Finding the perfect breakfast is different for every player, but one thing is for sure, it has to give you enough energy to get through that first round. Traveling around the country, it’s hard to find a consistent food or restaurant chain that is healthy and has the right combination of sustainable nutrition that we need as athletes.
About one month ago a friend asked the same question, “What do you eat for breakfast?” We told him a standard response of ours, "Just anything convenient and healthy that we can find."
