Grip Equipment Tour Bag

Grip EQ is a company owned by my good friend, Justin Atwater-Taylor. The bag is very efficient and fits amazingly well. One of the best features of this bag is its waterproof rain fly which is conveniently hidden inside the bag and can be easily put on in the event of a unexpected rain storm.  This Special Edition "Nate Doss" Signature bag is one of only 20 that were made for a limited release.

doss d challenger blue

Pro D Challenger

This Pro D Challenger is strictly my main putter.  I prefer these because they are harder than normal D Challengers. I like the harder Challenger because it feels better in my hand in all weather conditions, especially when it gets hot during the summer.

doss d challenger green

Pro D Challenger

This Pro D Challenger is my backup putter and has many different uses on the course.  It is very similar to my main putter but slightly more stable. While this disc is my backup putter, I also use this disc for my upshots.

"Nate Doss" Pro D Challenger

This Challenger was a special run of 500 done by Discraft in the fall of 2011.  This run of Challengers was made to my specifications.  These are harder then normal Pro D Challengers that are made of a special blend of plastics to give the feel I am looking for in a putter.  This run was made to help support my tour and are only available at "The Nate Doss Shop".

Pro D Challenger

This Pro D Challenger is a new addition to my bag and is simply a backup disc.  It is consistent with all the other putters in my bag.

doss z buzzz red

Z Buzzz

This Z-Buzzz is perfect for straight mid-range shots.  The one thing I love about the Buzzz is how straight it flies brand-new and there no break-in time needed.

doss z wasp green

Z Wasp

This Z-Wasp is a recently new addition to my bag.  In addition to my Drone, I use the Wasp for stable mid-range shots up to 300-350 feet. I would throw the Wasp over the Drone if I wanted a bit more distance. I like the durability of the Z plastic and its predictability of being stable in the wind.

doss d drone 1

D Drone

This D Drone is my main stable mid-range disc.  A similar disc to the Wasp in Z plastic, the Drone gives me the stability and reliability I am looking for. I would throw the Drone when I need a stable disc or it is windy for shots 250-300 feet.

doss z hawk

Z Hawk

This Z Hawk is one of the oldest discs in my bag and I never leave home without it.  Its a straight and slightly under-stable disc because it has been so beat-in over the years.  It gives me the ability to have great accuracy and touch in tough situations.

doss z pred yellow 2

Z Predator

This Z Predator is the least stable of all my Predators because it is the most beat up one that I carry.  I use it for straight drives that need a slight hook up at the end. The nice thing is I can crank on this disc and trust that it will be stable and be able to handle it.

doss z pred yellow 1

Z Predator

This Z Predator is the most stable disc in my line up of drivers because I continually replace it with a brand new one. I use it on all big power hyzer shots so it is necessary that it keeps the same stability so I can rely on what it will do every time.

doss z force green 1

Z Force

I use this disc for my long distance stable shots (over 400ft). As far as distance goes, the Force is between a Pred and a Nuke. While it is not as stable as my Predators, it goes much farther. While it doesn't go as far as my Nuke, I can throw it more accurately. This and my Surge are my go-to drivers.

"Sparkle" Z Force

This is a Special Run "Sparkle" Z Force, made for the Players Cup of 2008.  I really like the "Sparkle" version of the Force because of its extra over-stable flight path.  While the normal Z Force is overstable, the "Sparkle" version seems to take it to the next level.  While this Force does not fly as far as my others, it is very predictable in all weather conditions.

doss esp nuke 1

ESP Nuke

The Nuke has quickly become one of the farthest flying  disc on the market, as well as in my bag.  I use this disc for my long distance field shots where accuracy is not the most necessary. In an open shot this disc is perfect to add distance because it is so fast.

doss z xl

Z XL

This Z XL is about the oldest disc in my bag.  The XL, which is a relatively unknown disc these days, is a very reliable disc for me on turn over shots.

doss x avenger

X Avenger

I use this disc for roller shots, but it is more stable than my XL. I can throw this one as a roller but it can fly a bit farther before it hits the ground and rolls. This is a good type of disc for cut rollers because it is pretty beat in (a new Avenger would be a long distance straight/stable driver)
